You can request the deletion of your account and personal data from the O Amigo Secreto app at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

Via App (iOS/Android)

  1. 1Open the O Amigo Secreto app
  2. 2Go to the Profile tab
  3. 3Tap the "Delete Account" button
  4. 4Confirm the deletion when prompted

Via Web Version (PWA)

  1. 1Go to play.oamigosecreto.app
  2. 2Log in to your account
  3. 3Go to your Profile
  4. 4Tap the "Delete Account" button
  5. 5Confirm the deletion when prompted

Data That Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

  • Profile data (name, email, phone, photo, preferences)
  • Authentication identifiers (Google, Apple and Facebook OAuth IDs)
  • Participations in all groups
  • Received notifications
  • Device tokens (push notifications)
  • Groups where you are the sole member (fully deleted)

Data That Is Anonymized

To preserve the data integrity of other participants, some records are anonymized rather than deleted:

  • Draw history: the reference to the user who executed the draw is removed (anonymized), but the draw record is kept for other participants
  • Groups with other members: group ownership is automatically transferred to another participant

Important Notice

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • There is no additional retention period — your personal data is deleted immediately
  • We recommend saving any information you wish to keep before deleting your account
  • After deletion, you will not be able to recover your account or data
